WE, MAKEUP AND EARTH

Hello my lovely angels. 💋 So this post is going to be a little different. 

All of you know how big makeup junkie i am, and all the makeup and skincare products that i own.
I love to play with colours, experiment and create amazing looks with makeup , combined with skincare range and health care.

I have been using cosmetics( skincare, makeup etc. ) for quite a time.With vast population and majority of population using cosmetics, ( The Indian cosmeceutical and cosmetic industry has overall market standing of USD 6.5 billion from a global market of USD 274 billion, and more to grow. ) source:economictimes.indiatimes.com

All over the the world cosmetic industry has been growing and will grow more. People will buy more and more of beauty cosmetics and there's no absolute problem in buying beauty products. However every now and then a thought crosses my mind and it scares me up. 
The amount of products we have been buying and the amount of money we have been spending on beauty industry shows no harm but prosperity to the industry and love and obsession over makeup by us.
However in times of today we as the people of this country/society and world as humanity should save our earth from being uninhabitable in future. most of us don't even pay attention to the fact that cosmetics/beauty products are also having negative impact our environment. we spend our money on beauty products/cosmetics and use them or some of them gets expire, some of them we don't use and so on., we continue this process. Every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour lots of beauty products are sold. we keep a stash of them and grow it bigger.
But have you ever thought of what happens to all of these empty, half full and unused products that we disown or put in bin.
Many products have reusable quality, many are recyclable, but  not all. Close to this we everyday, every month, every year leave heavy quantity of waste which is environmental harmful and creating a difficult situation for future generation. Products which cannot be reused or recycled are being burnt or are being turned into garbage, they are a big threat to our environment. Because all the chemicals and disposable items are not just harmful but are destroying our land and air.

What we do is use and throw or anyways throw, but we have to change this to a better and sustainable future. 

Things you can do to reduce the impact of beauty disposable products on Earth. 

1) Try and avoid buying every thing in the market. 

2) Try to move to organic and herbal products for less chemical waste. 

3) There are brands like M.A.C, Kiehl's, Aveda etc. have products recycle programme which you can go through if you have products from those brands. Go through brands recycle programme to know who all offer. 

4) Cosmetics recycle programmes sepecially designed for cosmetics packaging and products like TerraCycle etc are there for us. 

5) Try to reuse the package by turning into something else after cleaning it properly. 

6) Buy products that you need and after reading its content for use. 

7)Try to plant a tree after every 5 to 8 products bought atleast, since can't plant after every buy, but if can please do. 

8) Try to use more and more home remedies.

9) Buy quality products which lasts longer and are suitable. 

10) Share this word with friends and family to spread more awareness regarding this issue. 

Its good to see that brands themselves are now being taking up steps for a cause and are informing us to join. 

Its time to be the change to make a change.
